ENTRY #4. GET SOME SLEEP.
Most of us know that getting a good nights sleep is important, but too few of us actually don't know the right time to start sleeping or to stop. for some of us with busy lives we forgotten what "really, truly rested" feels like. Why is sleep important? Because it affects your mental and physical health.

to get the sleep you need, you must look at the big picture.
To make further complicated matters, coffee, energy drinks and alarm clocks interfere with your natural sleep/wake cycle and are restorative.
You need to examine the lifestyle factors that are affecting your quality of sleep such as stress from work and schedules
How much sleep do you need? well since I am not willing to lie to you guys, I did my research on how much we really need and turns out it all depends on the ages and health.
Here is the list of summaries recommendations from newborns to older adults:
Newborns (0-3 months): Sleep range narrowed to 14-17 hours each day (previously it was 12-18)
Make a sleeping schedule, make it a priority. look at good diets and exercise since health is an overall component. Its a better path to a healthier sleep and a healthier lifestyle.
I never realy thought about making a sleep schedule... I usually just go to bed when my body is tired, but that might not be the most affective. Its cool to know how much sleep I'm supposed to be getting though.
