ENTRY#6. My type of social.
For me, its takes about 1 hour to get 30 likes on Instagram and about 4 hours on Facebook and no it doesn't upset me or makes me angry I just accept it. Thing is I KNOW my followers and likers and I don't mean it in a way that I hang with them every day, that's not it. The case is I know I'm not really on social media a lot posting 5 to 10 pictures a day, commenting, liking other peoples stuff, so my type of social with anybody online is for example if they are new its basically like "hey if you like my pics, ill like yours" but we don't actually say those things we just show. for my family and friends its more of a comfort zone, we could say just about anything online to each other, well not anything. I know that I get less like on Facebook because I decide not to post as many pictures as in Instagram and well because I have most of my family on Facebook and anything I post can lead to a message or phone call from them saying " why did you say that or post that?" My followers on social media like snap chat and Instagram or Facebook, they know I don't post on the daily so sometimes when I do post they're like "wow where have you been?" as if I've been in coma the past three months. I know what type of accounts I'm running and I know what's going on when I just scroll more online than I post. I know that not liking other peoples things online could lead them to stop following me or into shock for not seeing me online in a while. I know I don't have to be popular to get likes on social media even though that's the easiest way, you just have to be consistent giving likes and comments to others and get it in return, that's how it works, but I know my type of level of social media and I'm okay with that.
Ya I agree with you completely, that is exactly how social media is, you got to give likes to get likes. I'm not always on my social media accounts eaither, I have way better important things to do also😉. Good job.

ReplyDeleteMarivy--Pretty good points and ideas in your new entries. You are a bit brief in the development of your points, so keep working to analyze and support your ideas to create deeper significance for your audience. Don't forget about the visual aspect of your text formatting--you have a bit of a big block style, which can be a turn off for some readers.
