Hello guys, Right now I am going to be talking about cool benefits of being a left handed person. I want to start off to say that I am one of them, and that you are definitely not cursed ( not too sure). If you are a lefty you probably are not always right. kidding! just because we are lefties doesn't mean we are not capable of doing what right handers do, as a matter of fact, Left handed people are just as smart or creative as righties. There is, for sure more right handed people in the world and only about 10% of left handers who are usually the odd ones out but after knowing how I write and draw or do anything with my left hand, I am quite great.I know that being a lefty can take advantage of sports. Being a former player I loved being able to play basketball and being able to make a left lay-up knowing its one of the hardest thing to do for a right handed person.
I've noticed that left handed people get their side of the palm and pinky finger dirty when writing.
Other than my experience of being a lefty here are some cool things to know:
Lefties are most likely to be the genius in the family
Lefty People are more Artsy
Lefties have better hearing
Lefties are scaredy-cats
(I guess ill blame that on being a lefty)
Lefties are better a competitive sports
Don't believe all bad thing about us lefties we are not the devil and We do not have a disease. We are quite normal and pretty smart. Don't scare us or try to compete against us in sports or drawing, we will win, especially if its between the family!
Thank you for visiting and goooood day 😊
LMAO! I loved this post Marivy. My eldest brother is the only left-handed one in my immediate family (out of 5 of us total). I never thought anything of it until I got into Jr. High and some of my class mates were left-handed and talked about how they sometimes got made fun of. It boggled my mind! Admittedly, left- or right-handed, my brothers and I are all pretty creative in various ways (But I totally draw better than my left-handed brother does. Totally.) I think it's a little silly how it can be so difficult to have items that are meant for left-handed people. I know it's something my brother has had a hard time with before. Be proud of your left-handed-ness! It's pretty awesome in my book!
ReplyDeleteSomeone else that is left handed? Thank goodness, it is such a common thing for me to get ink all over my hand when I write that I forget that other people don't understand why I have a bunch of ink all over me and my papers (It gets everywhere when you are writing a lot). But I haven't really been made fun of for being left handed, people are mostly just intrigued as to how I do things like play sports or use scissors. Often times I am actually ambidextrous when it comes to some things like sport shooting, but I am right handed when throwing things or playing hockey, I don't know if I am better but I can still play well enough! However, I do feel like I am more artsy in comparison to my relatives and family members so you may have something there. Besides that I hope you are treated better by righties because we are pretty much the same people but we write differently!
ReplyDeleteIm not a lefty but i understand both the struggles of being a lefty like not being able to write with certain pens due to the problem that they will smear across the page but thats awesome lefts can relate to so much that right handed people just don't know about.
