ENTRY #11. Dear Future Students.
Dear Future students,
What can I say about blogging, easy? piece of cake?, you wont jump off a cliff? well, not necessarily is it easy but it is quite challenging. Challenging in the way where you have to organize what you are talking about so your audience can understand, just like a paper. You have to organize what you are about to say. For example, say what you're going to say, say it, then say what you said.
For me, being a retired blogger on blogger, I've learned you can get creative in your blogs. you can add pictures and videos, change the text and size, and even add different colors. That was the fun part about doing a blog. I experienced so many ways to blog and how your own opinion matters and how it could impact others.
The most challenging thing on doing a blog is making sure who the audience is. sometimes you could lose track and get off topic. Other than that, a blog is helpful in building trust and confidence. Don't think a blog is exactly like Facebook, it is quite more than that. Yes, blogging is public for anybody to see, but the blogging is for a cause to be personal, persuasive or to simple inform professionally.
There is a thin line between blogging for friends and blogging for class. One of them is graded. It has to be taken seriously when it comes to blogging for a class. it is important to use techniques that were taught in the same class as well. Reflect on the instructors and classmate comments and learn from them, I learned they are really helpful for the future blogging projects.
Blogging lead my classmates to know more about me personally. It made others more comfortable as well as myself, and more trust-worthy. I also experienced that other classmates might have the same ideas as me or simple outside hobbies that could lead to communication. The great thing about blogging were the good responsive comments. Reflecting on the comments make you a better blogger.
Bogging boost confidence and helps the author to be more comfortable in the writings. It is useful enough to influence blogger to keep on blogging. All it takes is dedication and time and a great topic to talk about, so future blogger students prepare to see what any English paper, or Facebook post Can't do, blog.
I am glad you found value in the blog project.
