ENTRY#6. My type of social.

For me, its takes about 1 hour to get 30 likes on Instagram and about 4 hours on Facebook and no it doesn't upset me or makes me angry I just accept it. Thing is I KNOW my followers and likers and I don't mean it in a way that I hang with them every day, that's not it. The case is I know I'm not really on social media a lot posting 5 to 10 pictures a day, commenting, liking other peoples stuff, so my type of social with anybody online is for example if they are new its basically like "hey if you like my pics, ill like yours" but we don't actually say those things we just show. for my family and friends its more of a comfort zone, we could say just about anything online to each other, well not anything. I know that  I get less like on Facebook because I decide not to post as many pictures as in Instagram and well because I have most of my family on Facebook and anything I post can lead to a message or phone call from them saying " why did you say that

ENTRY #5. SELFie.

The podcast I heard from Ira Glass, the person that was questioning the three teenage girls, had more sense to me than I ever expected to know about pictures we all post online. He mentioned something after the girls said "we have expectations when we post our pictures" Ira says "at night they mostly get the likes, not in the afternoon or morning" that's where I reacted because I don't think that's true at all, I mean it all depends on what type of followers you have. What was more relevant to me on this podcast was" being a new follower", when it comes to following someone or someone following me online, I expect some kind of likes on my picture because why would I just want you to follow me? just to stare at my pictures and keep scrolling? nope. Being a new follower and making comments shows that "hey I wanna be your friend" or " you like my stuff, ill like yours". Its like a chain reaction when they start doing the same

ENTRY #4. GET SOME SLEEP.

Image
Most of us know that getting a good nights sleep is important, but too few of us actually don't know the right time to start sleeping or to stop. for some of us with busy lives we forgotten what "really, truly rested" feels like. Why is sleep important? Because it affects your mental and physical health. to get the sleep you need, you must look at the big picture. To make further complicated matters, coffee, energy drinks and alarm clocks interfere with your natural sleep/wake cycle and are restorative. You need to examine the lifestyle factors that are affecting your quality of sleep such as stress from work and schedules How much sleep do you need? well since I am not willing to lie to you guys, I did my research on how much we really need and turns out it all depends on the ages and health. Here is the list of summaries recommendations from newborns to older adults: Newborns (0-3 months ): Sleep range narrowed to 14-17 hours each day (previ

ENTRY #3. KYLIE JENNER.

Image
When you come from a rich family, that already means you're rich your whole life. Kylie Jenner comes from a family who are well known in this society. Dad is an All-Star USA Olympian gold medalist and her mom, well I don't know what she does but she has a lot of kids with talent. For Kylie Jenner being the youngest out of  8 in total, she has become the most popular face on the internet today. The 20 year old is what every teenager girl wants; the beauty, the talent and the extraordinary life. But what is it that makes people so obsessed with her? Is it the beauty? Is it because she's dated rappers who fans are obsessed about? Or is it because she's in a reality TV show? The TV show called "THE KARDASHIANS" is the top TV show on TV making Kylie Jenner even more well known. Let me just tell you now, she is famous for many more things other than just that TV show. #1, On Instagram, she mostly posts glamorous selfies and gets more than a million of

Entry #2. 2 PAC.

Image
The greatest rapper of all time is 2 pac. no doubt, no discussion about it, he is! 2Pac died in 1996 and was primarily an American rapper with exceptional music skills. His songs are still being played on the radio. His music is not only rapping about thugs or money or cars. His songs tell a story, they have poetry and rhythm like the world has never heard before. Not only was he a rapper he was an actor as well and with such talent it had to end at the age of 25. He is an inspiration gone too soon and well missed. Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996). Also known by his stage names 2Pac , Pac and Makaveli. He left a strong mark in this world and you can tell because his lyrics are still relevant in issues still going on today. Tupac grew up with his mother (Afeni Shakur) who was in one of the biggest protesting group of her time. they were called the Black Panthers. they fought for their rights especially because it was hard being a woman and Afric

Entry #1. Blogs blogs blogs

For me blogs meant "professional information". at first I thought that when you read blogs it was about a political issue or something that happened around the world. Now getting to read all these examples of real blogs I come to think, okay this is pretty interesting. My opinion on blogs was changed after reading and getting to know more about it. I honestly like blogs. its about anything you can talk about personally, professionally with different tones and perspectives. I didn't even know I always made them by saying something on Facebook or twitter. I came across TMZ and omg they are crazy! they said things about celebrities that may or may not be true. I think that's how they get people to follow them though, they catch their eye by saying something that's not real. I personally liked it though because hey, they are not talking about me so I'm good. haha I also seen HUFFPOST. now that one I was really interested in reading if I wanted to know what th
